Adrienne Grecco

Adrienne Grecco is a Toronto-based oil painter inspired by the landscapes, gardens, and quiet moments of everyday life.

Growing up on 10 acres between a strawberry farm and a truck farm in rural Ontario, Adrienne developed an early love of colour, changing seasons, and the natural world, encouraged by her mother, an art teacher.

She studied graphic design at Durham College in 2003 and worked in design and photography, experiences that still shape her sense of composition, light, and balance.

Working primarily in oil, Adrienne creates expressive landscapes and still lifes with saturated colour and layered brushwork. Rather than exact realism, she paints the feeling of a place: afternoon light, a familiar road, flowers in bloom.

As a mother of two, painting is both her creative practice and a way of preserving moments that might otherwise pass unnoticed, inviting viewers to slow down and experience the familiar through colour and emotion.
