WHAT WE FRAME
You name it, we frame it. At Dimensions Custom Framing in Toronto, we can beautifully present and protect virtually anything — whether it's two-dimensional or three.
Artwork & photographs
Paintings, drawings, watercolours, prints, photographs, and digital artwork — framed to museum standards with the right mat, glass, and moulding for each unique piece.
Shadow box framing
Three-dimensional pieces deserve three-dimensional framing. We create custom shadow boxes for medals, trophies, sports paraphernalia, small sculptures, jewellery, and keepsakes of all kinds.
Jerseys & textiles
Sports jerseys, vintage clothing, scarves, tapestries, cross stitch, and embroidery — carefully mounted and framed to preserve the fabric and present it beautifully.
Diplomas, certificates & awards
Your achievements deserve to be displayed with pride. We frame diplomas, certificates, badges, pins, patches, and awards with the care and precision they deserve.
Mirrors
A custom-framed mirror transforms a room. We'll help you choose the ideal size, shape, and frame style to complement your space perfectly.
Corporate & business framing
We work with businesses, galleries, and institutions across Toronto to frame artwork, awards, and meaningful pieces for offices and public spaces. Installations available.
And much more
Vinyl records and album covers, musical instruments, maps, children's artwork, wedding invitations and menus, concert tickets, travel souvenirs, historical documents, posters, autographed items, magazine covers, newspaper clippings, mixed media artworks, and anything else that matters to you.
MATERIALS WE USE
UV-protective glass
Blocks the light wavelengths responsible for fading and colour shift. For pieces near windows or in bright rooms, UV glass is the single most important protective upgrade you can make.
Acid-free mat boards
We use only museum-quality 100% cotton rag mat boards — free of acids, lignin, and impurities that can damage artwork over time. A mat isn't just decorative; it's a protective barrier between your piece and the outside world.
Archival mounting
Every piece is mounted using archival, reversible techniques that protect the integrity of the original work and ensure it can be safely removed in the future if needed.
FRAMING FOR BUSINESSES & CORPORATIONS
Dimensions Custom Framing works with businesses, law firms, medical offices, restaurants, hotels, and galleries across Toronto to create professional, polished displays for offices and public spaces.
Whether you need a single statement piece framed for a boardroom, a full office collection installed, or ongoing framing for a gallery or event space, our team is experienced in corporate projects of all scales.
We offer consultations, on-site installation, and delivery. Call 416.463.7263 to discuss your project.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How much does custom framing cost in Toronto?
The cost of custom picture framing depends on the size of your piece and the materials you choose. We offer beautiful options across a range of budgets without ever compromising on quality. Come in for a no-pressure consultation and we'll walk you through what makes sense for your piece and your budget.
How long does custom framing take?
Most custom framing projects at our Toronto studio are ready within one to two weeks. We'll give you a clear timeline at the time of your consultation and contact you as soon as your piece is ready.
Do I need an appointment?
Walk-ins are always welcome at our Queen Street East studio. If you'd like to ensure we have dedicated time for your project, calling ahead is always appreciated.
What is UV glass and do I need it?
UV glass filters out the light wavelengths responsible for fading and deterioration. For artwork displayed near windows or in bright rooms, it's one of the best investments you can make in protecting your piece long-term. We always recommend it for valuable or sentimental works.
What is a mat board and why does it matter?
A mat serves two essential functions — it protects your artwork from airborne pollutants, moisture, and acids, and it enhances the visual presentation of the piece by creating breathing room between the artwork and the frame. At Dimensions, we use only museum-quality 100% cotton rag mat boards.
Can anything be framed?
Absolutely. Whatever you want to preserve, protect, or display, Dimensions Custom Framing in Toronto can frame it — on any surface, whether two or three-dimensional. If it matters to you, we can frame it.
Is custom framing worth the cost?
Quality framing is an investment in the long-term preservation and presentation of something that matters to you. Proper materials, UV glass, and expert craftsmanship ensure your piece looks beautiful today and stays that way for decades. We believe that's always worth it.
How do I know which frame is right for my piece?
That's exactly what we're here for. Bring your piece in — or even just a photo — and we'll guide you through the options based on the artwork itself, your space, your style, and your budget. No pressure, just honest advice from people who love what they do.
